Get immersed in entomology on "Wild Thursday" at a free presentation for adults Aug. 23 at Montana Wild, 2668 Broadwater Ave., next to Spring Meadow Lake State Park off Highway 12 West in Helena.
Instructor Jim Stein will help novice and experienced anglers learn how to identify the live aquatic insects fly-fishing anglers need to know to properly "match the hatch." Stein is an Orvis Fly Fishing School teacher at Cross Currents, located in Helena and Craig. The one-hour program begins at 7 p.m.
This "Wild Thursday" program is geared toward adults. Youngsters 9 and older can attend but must be accompanied by an adult who is participating in the program. Space is limited and will fill up quickly. Register early by calling Montana Wild at 444-9944.
