One of Montana Wild's most popular clinics, "Fly Casting with Matt Wilhelm," will return to Helena on Aug. 16.
Beginning fly anglers are invited to attend the free, one-hour introductory casting clinic hosted by the Montana Wild Education Center at Spring Meadow Lake State Park. The "Wild Thursday" clinic will begin at 6 p.m.
Wilhelm, from Livingston, is the education director of the Invasive Species Action Network and a Federation of Fly Fishers master casting instructor with more than 20 years of casting instruction experience.
"Wild Thursday" programs are open to boys and girls ages 9 and up. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited and will fill up quickly. Register early by calling Montana Wild at 444-9944.
