Butte Spring 2015 Hunter Education Registration Now Open

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks will hold its spring Butte hunter education class beginning April 14 at Highlands College (formerly Montana College of Technology – 25 Basin Creek Road). Online registration is required, and students under 18 years of age must have the consent of a parent or guardian.

Registration Open for Dillon Area Spring Hunter Education

The Dillon area spring Hunter Education course will be held at the Dillon Middle School on April 21, 23, 27, 28 and 30, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The field day will be held on Saturday, May 2 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Dillon Rifle and Pistol Club Range. Class enrollment will be capped at 35 students.

Come and take a walk with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Criminal Investigator, Brian Sommers, as we explore Wildlife Forensics. The program will focus on the wildlife forensics involved in a wildlife attack on humans. It will explore what is an attack, the scientific investigation after an attack and the conclusions drawn from the investigation.
