Last Hunter Education Classes Offered in Glasgow, for Youth and Adults

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Hunter Education course dates have been set for the last courses in the Glasgow area for this year. There will be a regular youth classroom course starting Sept. 6, and an adult online “field day” course on Sept. 10.

Some Hunter Education courses are available in Region 7 this fall, and a few courses already have been set for 2018. Currently there are no Bowhunter Education courses scheduled in Region 7.

Becoming an Outdoor Woman Beginning Kayaking Class Offered Near Fort Peck

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks' Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) program is sponsoring two beginning kayaking classes, on August 26 and 27, at the First Dredge swim beach just north of the Fort Peck Fish Hatchery near Fort Peck. One class will be offered each day (participants will choose their preferred day), and the classes will take place from 1-5 p.m. both days.

Wolf Trapper Certification Class - Bozeman 2017

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks will host a wolf trapper certification class in Bozeman at its Region 3 Headquarters (1400 S. 19th Ave.) on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Online registration is required.

Trapper Education Course to be Held in Whitefish

(KALISPELL, Mont.) A beginner’s trapping course is scheduled for August 26, 2017 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at 235 Martin Camp Road in Whitefish Montana. This class is free! Hunter Education Classes Scheduled for NW Montana

(KALISPELL, Mont.) Students must be at least 10 years old to register for a hunter education class; there is no maximum age limit. Any person born after January 1, 1985, must show a certificate of completing a hunter education course to purchase a hunting license in Montana. Classes are free of charge.

September Wolf Trapping Class Set for Great Falls

Butte Hunter Education August 2017

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks will hold its summer Butte hunter education class beginning Monday, Aug. 14 at Highlands College (formerly Montana College of Technology – 25 Basin Creek Road). Online registration is required, and students under 18 years of age must have the consent of a parent or guardian.

The last Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Hunter Education classroom course date has been set for the Bainville area, on Fri. and Sat., August 4-5. All hunter education classes are free of charge.
