FWP Region 6 Launches Facebook Page


Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 6 is joining the world of social media. Marc Kloker, Region 6 Information and Education Program Manager, recently launched a Facebook page dedicated to the region:

Butte Trapper Education Class Set for Jan. 24


A trapper education class is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24 at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Butte Area Office (1820 Meadowlark Lane). The class is free of charge and all are welcome to attend. An adult must accompany youth under 12 years of age. Pre-registration is required by contacting Vanna Boccadori at 406-494-2082.

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks' Becoming an Outdoors Woman program is sponsoring a snowshoe class on January 24th in Thompson Falls. Applicants can choose to attend the morning class from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm or the afternoon class from 11:30 until 4:30 pm. The morning session is a beginner or novice class for those who have little or no snowshoe experience. The afternoon session is an intermediate class for persons who have gone snowshoeing before and will include a longer walk.
