Why is there a grizzly bear in my backyard?

The public is invited to attend Liaison Team meetings during October between Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and landowners for the Kootenai Valleys, Swan Valley, and Thompson and Fisher River conservation easements. Combined easement acreage is approximately 186,500 acres.

Online registration is still open for the Kalispell Hunter Education Course. Students must register online, and attend the orientation on Friday evening, September 26, any time between the hours of 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Headquarters on North Meridian Road in Kalispell. At the orientation, students will pick up pre-course materials and receive further instructions. It will require about 20 minutes for students to go through the orientation.
