A group representing an array of interests will meet in Helena on Thursday, Feb. 25 to conclude its exploration of expanding ways to fund Montana fish and wildlife programs.
This is the final gathering of the "Finding Common Ground to Sustain Fish and Wildlife" group, which aims to identify ways that could lead to broader financial support for fish and wildlife programs by improving relationships and trust among those who enjoy Montana's fish and wildlife resources.
The facilitated meeting is set for 9 a.m., Feb. 25, at Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks' Montana WILD Education Center, 2668 Broadwater Ave. Opportunities for public comment will be provided.
Invited participants represent Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and groups and individuals who expressed interest in the issue. Agenda topics include various updates, potential funding mechanisms, and recommendations for building constituent support.
