Licensing & Funding Council To Meet In Helena

The advisory council tasked with considering changes to Montana’s hunting and fishing licenses and fees will meet in Helena, Jan. 16-17.

At the meeting, the Fish & Wildlife License and Funding Advisory Council will discuss Montana's hunting and fishing license funding cycle, license pricing, and special earmarked accounts.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. on Jan.16 at the Comfort Inn Suites, 3130 N. Washington St. On Jan. 17, the meeting will resume at 8 a.m. at Montana Wild, 2668 Broadwater Ave., just off U.S. Highway 12 West near Spring Meadow Lake State Park.

The meeting is open to the public. Public comment is specifically scheduled for noon on Jan. 17.
