BILLINGS — Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Director Jeff Hagener is scheduled to meet with the department’s Region 5 Citizen Advisory Council Tuesday, Aug. 6, in Billings.
The council meeting, which is open to the public, is set to start at 6:30 p.m. at the FWP regional headquarters, 2300 Lake Elmo Dr. in Billings Heights.
Paul Sihler, who headed up FWP’s efforts in the 2013 Montana Legislature, also will address the council.
Hagener was appointed to FWP’s top position by Gov. Steve Bullock and confirmed by the state legislature earlier this year.
The seven-member council’s role is to offer informed advice to the department and to participate in honest, open and respectful dialog on a variety of issues affecting fish, wildlife and park lands in south central Montana.
