Meeting location Change: Fish and Wildlife Commission to meet Dec. 10

The location has been changed for the Dec. 10 Fish & Wildlife Commission meeting from the FWP Headquarters to Montana WILD.

The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission will meet Monday, Dec. 10, at FWP’s Montana WILD Education Center at 2668 Broadwater Ave. in Helena. The commission meeting starts at 8 a.m. and will be streamed live via video to all FWP regional offices. The meeting will also be audio streamed online at fwp.mt.gov.

Agenda items include:

  • A renewal of the Avista Cooperative Use Agreement
  • Clarification on use of UAVs (drones)
  • Clarification on Motion Tracking Devices
  • Draft Statewide Fisheries Management Program and Guide, 2019-2027 (also referred to as the Statewide Fisheries Management Plan)
  • Fishing Access Site/Wildlife Management Area Draft Biennial Commercial Fee Rule
  • Madison River and Varney Bridge Fishing Access Site Temporary Closure Rule
  • Stevensville Bridge Fishing Access Site Easement Acquisition and Development Region 2
  • Big Creek Instream Flow Water Rights Lease Renewal Region 3
  • Fishing Access Site Biennial Rule
