Montana's Fish & Wildlife Commission will meet via conference call on Aug. 29 to adopt the upcoming season's waterfowl hunting regulations.

Commissioners also will take final action on the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribe's waterfowl regulations, a bighorn sheep research project that seeks to remove 4-6 adult sheep from western Montana to study pneumonia transmission in a herd, and Future Fisheries project funding.
On land matters, commissioners will be asked to approve a partial assignment of a conservation easement on Sourdough Creek near Bozeman.
An update will be presented to the commission on Montana's drought status and water supply.
