FWP Commission's June Meeting Set For Hamilton

Montana’s Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission will meet June 25 in Hamilton at the Bitterroot River Inn Conference Center, 139 Bitterroot Plaza Dr.

Commissioners are expected to make final decisions on a number of items including the 2009 mountain lion quotas and 2010 moose, sheep goat, deer an elk hunting license auction rules. Up for tentative approval are the 2009 bison season and quotas and the 2009 furbearer quotas.

At the meeting, set to begin at 9:30 a.m., commissioners also will consider moving ahead with six fishing access site acquisitions. Late in the morning there will be an opportunity for the public to address other FWP issues not on the agenda.
