Male Mountain Lion Hunting To Close In The Missoula Special Management Area

The hunting of male mountain lions in the Missoula Special Management Area, which includes portions of hunting districts 201, 203, 204, 260, 283 and 292, in portions of Mineral, Missoula, Sanders, Granite, Ravalli, and Powell counties, will close at one-half hour after sunset on Tuesday, January 22, 2013.

The closure notice for the hunt came shortly after Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the districts combined had been met.
