The hunting of female mountain lions in several Montana hunting districts in Region's 3 and 4 will close at one-half hour after sunset on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013:

Close to hunting of female mountain lions:

• HD 340 – which includes portions of Beaverhead, Madison, Jefferson and Silver Bow counties.
• HD’s – 422, 423, 424, 425 & 442 – which includes portions of Lewis & Clark and Teton counties.

The closure notice for the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest sub-quota for the district(s) have been met.
