By order of the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission the season for all trapping and/or hunting of bobcats in Trapping District 3 and District 5 will close at midnight on Sunday, December 31, 2006.

Trapping District 3 includes portions of  Beaverhead, Broadwater, Deer Lodge, Gallatin, Jefferson, Lewis and Clark, Madison, Meagher, Park and Silver Bow counties.

Trapping District 5 includes portions of Big Horn, Carbon, Fergus, Golden Valley, Meagher, Musselshell, Park, Petroleum, Stillwater, Sweet Grass, Treasure, Wheatland and Yellowstone
