The hunting of female mountain lions in western Montana hunting district 270, which includes a portion of Ravalli County, will close at one-half hour after sunset on Saturday, December 23, 2000.
The order halting the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the district has been met.
