Travelers' Rest State Park Storytelling Series Set for March

Visit Travelers' Rest State Park near Lolo this March and take part in the age-old Salish tradition of sharing history through storytelling during the cold winter months. The one-hour programs begin at 11a.m. on all Saturdays.

Smith River Float Permit Results are Now Available

(Helena, MT) - Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) is announcing to the public that the lottery drawing results are available online for Smith River State Park float permits. To view the results, go to the FWP licensing system: https://app.mt.gov/als/index/index.html, click on ???check your drawing status??? at the bottom or go to fwp.mt.gov and click on ???Buy a License???. Permit winners will also be notified by mail.

Comments Sought on Black Sandy State Park Building Project

(Bozeman, MT) -Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) is accepting public comments on proposed improvements to Black Sandy State Park which is located on the shores on Hauser Lake just north of Helena. This project would involve the addition of a new building.
