September hours for Pictograph Cave State Park east of Billings will start Thursday. During September, the park will open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. The visitor center will open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks will host a series of open house meetings to discuss and seek comment on proposed fishing regulation changes for 2012-15. An archery only management season hunt has been enacted for the area in and adjacent to the town of Glendive, Montana. The City of Glendive has requested additional antlerless mule deer licenses be made available five per hunter and valid from the start of the archery season, September 3, 2011 until the end of the big game season, November 27, 2011in an effort to reduce the number of mule deer in and immediately adjacent to town.
