Fwp Makes Decision On Proposed West Swan Valley Conservation Project

On August 6, 2010, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP), Region One, released an environmental assessment (EA) for the proposed West Swan land conservation project. The EA addressed the environmental impacts of various conservation alternatives as well as the no-action alternative for this project.

Pictograph Cave State Park changes to winter hours

Hours at Pictograph Cave State Park will change for the winter months, effective Friday, Oct. 1, 2010. Park hours until March 2011 will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The visitor center is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
