Public Comment Sought On Proposed 2011 Ice Fishing Derbies

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is seeking public comment on fishing contests proposed for the winter season of 2011. Participants must comply with state fishing regulations, including daily and possession limits. Most contests require catch-and-release fishing and participants in these contests may not keep any fish.

Bear In Campground Attacks Euthanized—Three Cubs To Be Taken To Zoo

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials said today the female grizzly responsible for injuring two people and killing a Grand Rapids, Mich. man at a campground near Cooke City this week was euthanized, but the bear’s three yearling cubs will be sent to a zoo as soon as possible.
