1999 Tentative Hunting Regulation Hearings Continue

The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Commission continues its public hearings on 1999 tentative hunting regulations with meetings in Glasgow, Billings, Bozeman, Havre, Kalispell, Great Falls, and Helena. During January, the commission has scheduled hearings on tentative regulations and quotas for the 1999 deer, elk, black bear, lion, and spring turkey seasons in several locations across Montana. The remaining hearings are set for: January 12 7 p.m. Cottonwood Inn Glasgow January 12 7 p.m. Holiday Inn Billings January 13 7 p.m. Holiday Inn Bozeman January 13 7 p.m. Community College Miles City January 14 7 p.m. Duck Inn Havre January 16 9 a.m. Outlaw Inn (Open House) Kalispell 10 a.m. Outlaw Inn Kalispell January 20 7 p.m. MSU College of Technology Great Falls January 23 9 a.m. Jourgenson’s Holiday Motel Helena Comment or obtain copies of the tentative regulations and proposed changes for the 1999 hunting seasons by writing to: Wildlife Division, Montana FWP, P.O. Box 200701, Helena, MT 59620-0701. Comment deadline is Jan. 25. The FWP Commission will consider final regulations at its Feb. 5 meeting in Helena.
