Hearings Slated on New Game Farm Rules

The Montana Department of Livestock and Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks together will hold public hearings during the first week of November to consider the repeal of the present game farm rules and adoption of new game farm rules. As required by law, the proposed rules have been developed jointly by the two state agencies. The hearing locations and dates are as follows: Billings -- November 2, 1998, 7 p.m. Billings Hotel and Convention Center (Clarion Hotel) 1123 Malowney Lane Great Falls -- November 4, 1998, 7 p.m. Heritage Inn, Alberta Room 10th Avenue South Missoula -- November 5, 1998, 7 p.m. Doubletree Inn 100 Madison Interested parties may submit their data, views or arguments on the proposed changes in game farm regulations, either orally at the public hearings or in writing, to Luella B. Schultz, Department of Livestock, PO Box 202001, Helena, MT 59620-2001; or Karen Zackheim, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, P.O. Box 200701, Helena, MT 59620-0701. Written comments will be accepted through November 13, 1998. You may contact either agency to receive a copy of the proposed rules.
