Shady Lane Kids Fishing Day

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks and Sportsman and Ski Haus will sponsor a Kids Fishing Day at the Shady Lane Pond in Kalispell on Saturday, May 31 from 9 am to noon. Kids aged 12 and under can fish for prizes. There will also be a catch and release contest and Fish Identification contest. Some loaner rods and assistance will be available. Shady Lane Pond does have a handicapped accessible fishing pier if water levels allow access. Anglers should access through the Old Steel Bridge Fishing Access Site and watch for signs.
