Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP), Region One, has completed an environmental assessment (EA) for the purpose of reestablishing public motorboat access on Crystal Lake in Lincoln County, Montana. The fishing access site (FAS) would include a boat launch, parking area (6-10 spaces), and a latrine. Alternative B, to construct an FAS on undeveloped FWP east shore property via Lakeshore Drive, was found to be the preferred alternative, having impacts to the fewest number of homeowners that can be substantially mitigated through careful site design and management.

There were no changes to the draft EA; therefore, the draft becomes the final EA. The decision notice is available on the FWP web site at fwp.mt.gov under Recent Public Notices. You may request a copy at the FWP headquarters office, 490 N Meridian Road, Kalispell. A copy is available for viewing at the Montana State Library, 1515 E 6 th Ave., Helena, and the Lincoln County Libraries - 220 W 6th, Libby; 318 Dewey Ave., Eureka; and 207 N 3rd, Troy.
