Two typographical errors in Montana’s big game hunting regulations resulted in an incorrect moose season type in one northwestern Montana hunting district and an incorrect season date for white-tailed deer in another.

On page 16 of the moose, sheep and goat hunting regulations, the moose seasons for hunting district 105 are erroneously listed as "Archery Only."   The seasons are actually for either-sex moose in hunting district 105-00 and antlerless moose in hunting district 105-10.

On page 40 of the deer, elk and antelope regulations, the white-tailed deer hunting season dates in hunting district 150 are erroneously listed as "Oct. 26—Oct. 30." The correct dates are Oct. 26—Nov. 30.

An error on page 93 of the deer, elk and antelope regulations incorrectly lists antelope hunting district 381 as a "Weapon Restriction Area" in the Scratchgravel Hills and the North Hills. There are no designated weapon restrictions areas in antelope hunting district 381.

The corrected information can be found on the FWP website at fwp.mt.gov. Click 2008-09 Hunting Regulations.
