Old Steel Bridge Replacement Work Begins

The Old Steel Bridge Fishing Access Site will be partially closed during the Montana Department of Transportation Bridge replacement project.   For the duration of the project a temporary boat launch will be located on Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks property on the east side of the Flathead River off of Old Steel Bridge Road.   A designated foot trail will be provided for access to the Shady Lane Fish Pond.   It is estimated that the entire site will be reopened in the fall of 2009.   For more information, call Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks at 752-5501.
