Aspiring young artists are reminded that State-Fish Art entries are due at the Kalispell Fish, Wildlife and Parks office by 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 19. The regional competition, sponsored by FWP, Flathead Chapter of Trout Unlimited and Snappy Sport Senter is open to all students grades 4-12. Students are required to do artwork on Montana’s state fish, cutthroat trout and submit an entry form and short composition. Details and entry forms are available from FWP or at www.statefishart.comhttp://www.statefishart.com All entries will be judged by a team of local artists and displayed at Snappys from March 21-26. Local winners will receive ribbons and gift certificates and the entries will then be forwarded to the national State-Fish Art contest.
