Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Region 3 has promoted long-time employee John Taillie to a newly created regional maintenance supervisor position. Taillie has been with FWP, previously as a maintenance worker, for 17 years. “I’ve been at FWP as a maintenance worker for a long time and I’m really looking forward to this new challenge,” said Taillie. “We’re restructuring our maintenance operations and I’m excited about the changes, which will be positive for employees and these incredible recreational resources.” The new position was created by splitting the duties of another long-time employee Tom Greason. Greason previously worked as both the maintenance supervisor and the regional fishing access site manager. He will continue working as the fishing access site coordinator. Taillie’s new responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance program for 10 regional state parks and 90 fishing access sites, supervising the maintenance crew, and providing technical and maintenance support to state parks maintenance workers and fishing access site caretakers. When he’s not working, Taillie enjoys fly fishing and hiking the Yellowstone River near his home in Livingston.
