Region One Wardens are looking for your help to solve several wildlife cases from this hunting season.

  • A calf moose was shot and left to waste in the Doris Creek drainage of the South Fork of the Flathead the first week of November.
  • A 5-point bull elk was shot and left to waste south of Polebridge in a meadow where Moran Creek crosses the north fork road. It occurred between October 22 and 23thrd.
  • Wardens are also looking for a green hatchback with Oregon plates whose occupants may have been hunting in the Marion area.
If you have any information about these cases, please contact your local game warden or use the 1-800-TIPMONT number.   We are looking for vehicle descriptions, license plates, individuals, dates, times or anything suspicious.   You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.

"The majority of people in this great state value the prized resources we have,” says FWP Warden Captain Lee Anderson. “It’s a select few that we have problems with. This is an opportunity for the people of Flathead County to do something to directly influence the conservation of these great wildlife resources and our hunting heritage in Montana. Please make the Call!"
