The bow hunter education course originally scheduled for the week of June 11 th has now been converted into a weekend course. The new dates for the class are June 15 th through the 17 th . Registration will still be held on Monday, June 4. The switch was made to encourage participation and to accommodate for a lack of instructors for the week-long course. Those interested in taking the weekend class must register on the 4 th , starting at 6:30 p.m., at the Billings Rod & Gun Club (2931 Rod & Gun Club Rd.). Registration is limited to the first 50 that sign up. Class times will be: Friday, June 15: 6:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16: 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 17: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. All classes are held at the Billings Rod & Gun Club. This weekend course is one of three remaining opportunities in 2007 for hunters to earn their bow hunter education certificate. Registration will occur at the club at 6:30 p.m. on June 18 for the June 22 nd through 24th course, and on July 9 for the July 13 th through 15 th course.
