A hunter education class for students 15 and older wishing to complete part of the course online, will be offered in Missoula in April.   Registration for the class is March 20, 7 p.m., at the Missoula Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) office, 3201 Spurgin Road.

Students will be required to complete class work online prior to attending two class sessions April 16 and 17, 7-9:30 p.m. and a two-hour field course on April 21. To pass the class, students must complete online assignments, classroom sessions, a field course, and pass the Montana hunter education final exam.

By state law, anyone born after Jan. 1, 1985 must present a Hunter Education certificate in order to purchase hunting licenses in Montana. A parent or guardian must accompany students under 18 to registration.
