A spring hunter education class has been scheduled in Miles City for Saturday and Sunday, March 17th and 18th. Classes will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Miles City FWP regional headquarters. A field course will be held March 18th from 2:30 to 6 p.m. at Spotted Eagle Recreation Area. Registration for the class will be held Tuesday, March 6th at 7 p.m. in Miles Community College room 313. Potential students are reminded that attendance is mandatory at both classes, the field day and registration in order to complete the class. Students will be required to bring a sack lunch, a beverage and two snacks to class each day. This class is for children that will turn 12 prior to or during the upcoming hunting season or anyone that is interested in taking the class. By state law, adults who have turned 18 years of age after January 1, 1985, are required to complete Hunter Education before they can hunt in Montana. The class is free of charge.
