Female Mountain Lion Hunting To Close In District 510

The hunting of female mountain lions in southcentral Montana hunting district 510, which includes portions of Carbon County, will close at one-half hour after sunset on Saturday, January 20, 2007.

The order stopping the hunt came shortly after Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest sub-quota for the district had been met.
