Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is seeking public comment on a proposal to purchase a perpetual conservation easement on the 2,292-acre Bird Creek Ranch, four miles north of Cascade along the Missouri River. The proposed easement would protect significant conservation values that exist on the ranch, which include farm and ranch lands, native plant communities, wildlife habitats, scenic open space, historic sites and recreational opportunities.
