Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is seeking public comment on a proposed Montana State Parks marketing plan. FWP developed the plan, recommended by the 2002 State Park Futures Committee, to strengthen management of Montana’s State Parks.

"Most of the projects outlined would help strengthen relationships among the parks’ staff, parks users, local communities and business owners," said Doug Monger, State Parks Division administrator.

Monger said the plan will:

*      ensure Montanans know about the parks and what they have to offer,

*      improve customer service, and

*      contribute to the economic vitality of communities located near Montana’s State Parks.

Public comments will be taken through Aug. 19 on the proposed plan titled "Connections-A Marketing Plan for Montana State Parks." The document is available for review on the FWP web site at fwp.mt.gov under Public Notices, Montana State Parks Marketing Plan, or may be requested by calling: 406-444-3750.

Comments should be mailed to FWP, Montana State Parks Division Marketing Plan, P.O. Box 200701, Helena, MT 59620-0701, or sent by email to: lhoward@mt.gov.
