Resident and non-resident antlerless white-tailed deer licenses on sale

Resident and non-resident deer hunters can purchase additional Region 6 antlerless white-tailed deer licenses at license providers, FWP offices and over the internet.

The licenses, coded as 698-00 B licenses for non-residents and 699-00 B licenses for residents, are valid for antlerless whitetails throughout Region 6. They are available in addition to hunters’ Deer A license, Single Region Antlerless White-tailed Deer License or any Deer B licenses obtained in the drawing. Individuals are limited to just one 698/699 license now, but additional licenses may be available later this fall, depending on how many are left over from the draw.

Special deer and elk permits, including Missouri Breaks elk and special deer permits, will be drawn next Monday, July 25 and results available on-line later that day. Special antelope permit results will be available on Monday, Aug. 8. You can check the status of your application by visiting Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ website at http://fwp.state.mt.us/hunting/licensedraw/results.aspx.
