Spring Turkey Hunting Workshop

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will hold a Woman’s Spring Turkey Hunting Workshop on May 6 (evening) and May 7, 2005 (until noon). The workshop is free of charge but limited to the first 20 women who register. Pre-registration and the workshop will be held at the FWP regional headquarters at the west end of Miles City. The event includes a short evening meeting (6-7 pm on May 6th) and May 7th, a very early morning field trip to locate and observe wild turkeys, mid-morning travel back to the FWP headquarters for workshop presentations about women in hunting, turkey habits and habitat, when to use turkey calls, and how to preserve a turkey tail and beard.
