If finding a Valentine’s gift for the outdoorswoman on your list has you stumped, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks has an answer.   Why not give her the gift of new and improved outdoor skills gained in an enjoyable and supportive environment?

FWP is offering a winter workshop, "Winter BOW in the Snow," Feb. 11-13 at the University of Montana’s Lubrecht Forest, 30 miles east of Missoula off U.S. Highway 200. The workshop, an extension of FWP’s "Becoming an Outdoors Woman" program, will include ice fishing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

At the workshop, women may also attend classes on identifying animal tracks, avalanche awareness, and winter survival.

For more information on the workshop, or to receive a registration packet for gift giving, call FWP at (406) 444-3188, or send an email to: llodman@mt.gov.
