The hunting of female mountain lions in north-central Montana hunting district 422, in portions of Lewis and Clark County, will close at one-half hour after sunset on Sunday, December 12, 2004.

The order halting the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest sub-quota for this district had been met.
