Trapper Education Class To Be Held In Butte

A trapper education class is set for March 13 in Butte from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks office, 1820 Meadowlark Lane. 

The class, sponsored by the Montana Trappers Association, will cover trapping regulations, ethics, safety, furbearer identification, equipment and trap setting.  The class is open and free to the public. Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult. 

Class participants will receive a certificate of completion, the National Trappers Association trapping handbook, workbook and other informational material.
