Mountain Lion Hunting To Close In District 240

The hunting of all mountain lions in western Montana Hunting District 240, in portions of Missoula and Ravalli County, will close at one-half hour after sunset on Monday, January 12, 2004.

The order halting the hunts came after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the district had been met.
