New Pamphlet On The Proper Use Of ATVs In the Hunt Available Free

A new pamphlet, “Hunting and ATVs,” helps ATV users and hunters sort out the facts, issues and proper use of ATV’s during hunting season.

The pamphlet summarizes in one place:

*        off-highway vehicle laws in the state;

*        tips on using ATV’s during the hunting season;

*        concerns such as fair chase and noise;

*        other interesting facts about ATV use.

The pamphlet is a joint project by FWP, the U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land

  Management, the Montana Trail Vehicle Riders Association and the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council.

Copies of this pamphlet are available at all FWP Regional offices.
