WAL-MART has donated $1,000 to the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Foundation for use by the TIP-MONT program. TIP-MONT, administered by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, enlists outdoorsmen and women in reporting crimes they observe involving the state’s fish, wildlife and State Parks resources. “TIP-MONT plays a unique role in protecting the natural, historic or cultural resources of the state and we are very happy that WAL-MART wants to be part of getting that important work done,” said Spence Hegstad, MFWP Foundation director. Callers to the TIP-MONT line (1-800-847-6668) report crimes they observe in the outdoors and important details that only first-hand observers may be able to provide. Callers may remain anonymous and still qualify for cash rewards if the leads result in an arrest. Individuals or organizations interested in supporting the TIP-MONT program may mail contributions to: Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Foundation, Attn: TIP-MONT, P.O. Box 200701, Helena, MT 59620-0701. The MFWP Foundation will earmark the contributions for the TIP-MONT Program and all contributions are tax-deductible.
