Governor Judy Martz announced the appointment of 16 members to the Private Land/Public Wildlife Advisory Council. The council, established by the Montana legislature in 1995, is comprised of landowners, hunters, and outfitters charged with oversight of Montana Fish, Wildlife, & Parks’ Block Management Hunter Access Program.
The 16 members are: Darlyne Dascher, Chair; Fort Peck landowner; Thomas Pugrud, Winnet landowner; Michael Nathe, Redstone landowner; Todd Tash, Dillon landowner; Craig Roberts, Lewistown landowner and sportsman; George Bettas, Stevensville sportsman; Don Bothwell, Kalispell sportsman; Vito Quatraro, Bozeman sportsman; Mary Jo Ridgeway, Miles City sportswoman; Jamie Byrne, Alzada outfitter; Jack Rich, Seeley Lake outfitter; Donna McDonald, Alder outfitter; Paul Roos, Ovando outfitter; Dan Walker, Billings FWP Commissioner; Rep. Michael Lange, R-Billings; Sen. Ken Hansen, D-Harlem.
The appointments are effective July 1. The law creating the council is under Montana Code Annotated 87-1-269.
