FEMALE MOUNTAIN LION HUNTING TO CLOSE IN DISTRICTS 283 & 285

The hunting of all female mountain lions in western Montana hunting districts 283 and 285, which include portions of Missoula and Powell counties, will close at one-half hour after sunset on Thursday, December 5, 2002.  

The order halting the hunt came shortly after Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the districts combined had been met.
