Upland Game Bird Advisory Council Named; To Meet In Helena Dec. 16-17

A new citizens group will help Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks develop a management plan for the state’s upland game bird populations.

FWP Director Jeff Hagener appointed the Montana Upland Game Bird Citizens Advisory Council last week. Members include:

  • Ben Deeble, Missoula
  • Robert Eng, Bozeman
  • Richard Kerstein, Scobey
  • Marty Lau, Great Falls
  • Dale Manning, Missoula
  • Ellis Misner, Fairfield
  • Pat Pierson, Red Lodge
  • Craig Roberts, Lewistown
  • Dale Tribby, Miles City
  • Ben Williams, Livingston
  • Lowell Young, Plentywood
  •  

    An additional member from eastern Montana will be named at a later date.

    The council’s first meeting is set for Dec. 16-17, at 9 a.m. at the Colonial Hotel, 2301 Colonial Dr. in Helena. The meetings are open to the public.
