Mountain Lion hunting To Close In District 240

The hunting of all mountain lions in western Montana hunting district 240, in portions of Missoula and Ravalli counties, will close at one-half hour after sunset on Friday, January 25, 2002.

The order ending the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the district had been met.
