Two state parks and the C.M. Russell Museum of Great Falls are partnering to offer the public a chance to see three attractions for one discounted price. For $6 visitors can buy an entrance pass good for one visit to the Russell Museum, Giant Springs State Park, and Ulm Pishkun State Park 10 miles south of Great Falls. The pass represents a 30 percent savings on the normal adult entry fees. "Once people buy a pass they will go to all three attractions, seeing more of what Great Falls has to offer and at a nice discount," said Dan Smith, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ state parks specialist. All three attractions have cultural and historical ties to north central Montana. At Ulm Pishkun, prehistoric men and women stampeded bison over a mile-long cliff for food and sustenance. Giant Springs were first described by the Lewis and Clark expedition and the Russell Museum is home to a large collection of paintings by Charlie Russell and other western artists depicting frontier life in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Each year, about 60,000 people visit the Russell Museum. Giant Springs State Park has as many as 80,000 guests a year and Ulm Pishkun, with a new visitor center not yet two years old, annually hosts about 25,000 people.
