Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks internships for summer 2001 offer Montana college students a variety of opportunities to gain "hands-on" work experiences that link to future career goals. An internship is a great way to begin building an eye-catching resume, too. "For the past decade this unique program has been a win/win situation for students, FWP and the people of Montana," said Debbie Cheek, FWP field support supervisor who coordinates the program. The typical internship is 12-weeks, totaling 480 hours with an average wage of $8 per hour. Students are encouraged to contact the career service office, work-based learning center or job opportunity placement center at the college they attend for details. The application deadline is mid-March.
