State Park on Tongue River Reservoir
The 12-mile long reservoir is situated among scenic red shale, juniper canyons, and the open prairies of southeastern Montana. The park is loved by Montana and Wyoming anglers, campers, and boaters. Water sports are popular here and the park boasts excellent fishing as four state record fish have been pulled from its waters. It’s remote, so plan accordingly.
Tongue River Reservoir State Park is located on Tongue River Reservoir. Tongue River Reservoir State Park is the only FWP managed site on Tongue River Reservoir. Tongue River Reservoir is a tributary of the Tongue River.
