To provide highly productive, diverse vegetative communities providing quality forage and cover for native wildlife species, emphasizing mule deer and elk, while providing public hunting and outdoor recreational opportunities.

Directions

In Lewis and Clark and Cascade counties about 40 miles north of Helena and 60 miles south of Great Falls. Exit I-15 at Wolf Creek and take the Missouri River Road east to Wolf Creek Bridge; turn south on Beartooth Road, which runs along the east side of the Missouri River and Holter Lake, and follow signs to the WMA.   (Lat 46.945,  Lng  -111.844)
