Sheep Mountain Fishing Access Site is located on the Yellowstone River 486 miles from the mouth on the left hand side as you face down stream. Highway 89 Bridge is the next access site up stream from Sheep Mountain. Springdale Bridge is the next site down stream from Sheep Mountain. Sheep Mountain is one of 51 FWP managed sites on the Yellowstone River. .
