The nearest put in site is at Headwaters State Park approx. 8 miles upstream. Toston Dam lies downstream of Fairweather FAS and before you get to Toston FAS. You can portage around the Dam with hand-carry watercraft.

Fairweather Fishing Access Site is located on the Missouri River 2301 miles from the mouth on the right hand side as you face down stream.
